Lapland knives from Kero are really real Lapland knives. Founded in 1929 by Yrjö Kero, the family owned business is based in Pajala - Swedish Lapland and is in the third generation of family ownership. The Kero family specializes in the processing of reindeer leather and reindeer horn for a variety of purposes. In addition to genuine Sami shoes, the range also includes typical Lapland knives. The production is based in Pajala, so that one can justifiably speak of Kero Made in Sweden as Made in Laponia. We have a very long relationship with Kero. In the years 2009, 2011 and 2015, we had the opportunity to personally visit Kero on one of our many Lapland tours. And one thing is for sure: once we're back in the area, we'll pass Kero again!
