Reindeer skin has been used like sheepskin in northern Europe since time immemorial. A reindeer skin measures approx. 75 - 90 x 110 - 120 cm. It is always slightly thicker than a sheepskin. The colouring can always vary slightly. It is normal for reindeer fur to shed. That it always sheds a little.
